On Tuesday, ten fine art and textiles students had the opportunity to attend a seminar to listen to a range of  renowned creatives speak in London, a day set up by the educational company The Training Partnership which organises keynote speakers to lecture to students across all subjects.

On the day, we heard talks from the photographer Simon Norfolk, artists Cornelia Parker and Stuart Pearson-Wright, and finally ceramicist Ingrid Murphy. It also gave us the opportunity to question the speakers on their own work and ideas.

It was a valuable experience that has exposed us to a wider range of media and helped to inspire our own personal projects.
