A high-quality politics education at Simon Balle All-through School explains the society in which we live in the 21st century. Politics outlines our rights and responsibilities as citizens – the power of the state over us, and our ability to choose and influence those in authority and our responsibility to model key British values. We want students to feel equipped to make the decisions that affect our schools and colleges, our health service, our transport network, and our armed forces. We endeavour to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to be able to understand the ever changing world around us and to be able to communicate analysis of current events. The skills that they master with us will enable them to ask perceptive questions, think independently, critically, weigh evidence, sift arguments, and develop perspective and judgement.

Students will also have the opportunity to augment their classroom learning with extra curricular experiences that enhance their passion for the subject.
