Sixth Form Destinations

Your time at Simon Balle Sixth Form is about preparing you for what comes next. We are proud of the destinations our students achieve and the wide range of pathways they take after completing their Level 3 qualifications.

On average, 80% of our students progress to degree-level study at university, with students securing places on a wide range of competitive courses and at universities across the UK. We have a strong track record of supporting students through the demanding application processes for Oxbridge and Medicine, providing tailored guidance, preparation and support throughout the application journey.

University is not the only route to a successful future. Each year, students also secure Higher and Degree Apprenticeships, gaining valuable experience while studying towards higher-level qualifications. Our students have progressed into apprenticeship opportunities with leading local and national organisations, including Barclays, Roche, Santander, GSK and Red Bull.

Through our careers programme, work experience, university guidance, employer engagement and personalised support, we help every student identify the pathway that is right for them. Whether your next step is university, an apprenticeship, employment or further study, we are committed to helping you leave Simon Balle ready to Achieve, Belong and Thrive.
