This section provides an overview of how AI is currently being used to support staff at Simon Balle All-through School. We are committed to integrating AI in a responsible, ethical, and effective way, and we’ve already made significant strides in using AI to support teaching, reduce workload, and enhance school operations.

• Staff Training on AI: We’ve conducted comprehensive training for staff to ensure they are confident in using AI tools, including resources on how to effectively incorporate AI into lessons, assessments, and administrative tasks.

• Bi-Weekly Staff Bulletin: Every two weeks, we send out a staff bulletin packed with new ideas, updates, and best practices for integrating AI into teaching and learning. This ensures that all staff have access to the latest insights and resources.

• AI in Lesson Planning: Staff are using AI to help with lesson planning, including generating ideas, adapting resources for different learning needs, and automating administrative tasks to save time and improve efficiency.

Collaborative AI Working Group: Our AI Working Group, made up of teachers and staff from various departments, meets regularly to explore new AI tools and strategies to enhance teaching, learning, and school operations. The group’s efforts focus on continuous improvement and the ethical use of AI.
