We are proud of our all-through school: one school for students from the age of four all the way to eighteen. We are known for our high expectations, first class education and our innovative approach. Our curriculum is broad, and its progressive and sequential nature in every subject ensures that children are inspired and can successfully journey through fourteen years of learning with us. We believe that there is no tension between this academic ambition for all and a holistic education which supports every young person to develop their character and sense of self.

On a fait les courses 🥗
Today we started the day at the market in Boulogne Sur Mer where the students got creative, planning and purchasing items to win a ‘best side dish’ competition. The students have been complimented a lot on their courage to speak and understand French and they... certainly shone at the market, talking to the traders to buy their produce. They enjoyed getting back to the chateau to make their creations and they’re pretty chuffed with how they’ve turned out. The winners are set to be revealed at our awards ceremony later in the trip but which is your favourite?

On a fait des crêpes 🥞
Last night the students had a great time making crepes at the chateau and enjoyed playing some ball games outside in the evening sun before the rain took us in to bed.

ON EST ARRIVES 🇫🇷
It’s official - we do talk about Bruno - our amazing baker delivered a fun and engaging talk to our students about his career as a Boulanger.
The second group had an equally great afternoon at the chocolate factory.

STEM WORKSHOP
Year 7 students recently took part in a STEM Workshop run by Raytheon UK, a technology company that focuses on Defence, Aerospace, Cyber and Intelligence.
Students had to devise ways of clearing space debris that orbits Earth, to ensure rockets could be launched into ...space safely. In addition, students had to design a Quadcopter drone that was specially adapted to detect poachers in the African savannah, survey endangered species in the Arctic and monitor plastic waste in the Atlantic ocean.
It's great to be working with so many local companies to help student development and awareness of the potential pathway available to them in the future.
