Welcome to

Simon Balle All-through School

It is a privilege to welcome you to Simon Balle All-through School. Our website is intended to be a window into the highest quality of education that we offer here, and to give you a sense of who we are and our shared vision and values.

We are proud of our all-through school: one school for students from the age of four all the way to eighteen. We are known for our high expectations, first class education and our innovative approach. Our curriculum is broad, and its progressive and sequential nature in every subject ensures that children are inspired and can successfully journey through fourteen years of learning with us. We believe that there is no tension between this academic ambition for all and a holistic education which supports every young person to develop their character and sense of self.

SPONSORING A PERSONALISED BRICK
Community Contributions: Celebrating the Past; Building the Future
As we eagerly look forward to the official opening, we would also like to invite our community to be a lasting part of our school's legacy by sponsoring a personalised brick or purchasing... a piece of sports equipment. Your support will help us further invest in enhancing the experience for every student by allowing us to deliver the widest possible range of sports as part of the PE curriculum and a variety of exciting extracurricular and enrichment activities. This is a unique opportunity to leave your mark while directly contributing to the future of success in sport at our school.

We have priced the limited edition brick starting from just £35 in the hope that as many people as possible will be able to participate. You can buy dedicated bricks as an individual, family, team, group of friends or even a form. We are also hoping that some of our past staff and students would also like to contribute, so please spread the word.

All the bricks will be produced in clay with black engraving. A single brick can contain a maximum of two lines whilst a double brick has a maximum four lines. Each line has a maximum of 16 characters, including spaces and punctuation marks.
If you would like to name a brick and support the fundraising for the school, then please complete this Google Form. [LINK IN BIO]
The deadline for requests so that we can benefit from ordering all at once is Friday 30th May
2025.

Alternatively, if you would prefer to support the ongoing development of the Sports Centre by making a donation towards equipment, donations can be made through our charity giving page which includes a full list of equipment options.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference to our students’ experience.

IT'S BEEN EMOTIONAL
Do you remember your last day of secondary school? Do you still have your signed shirt tucked away somewhere? Can you find your yearbook on the shelf?

We ticked every box on the “last day of school” checklist – and added a few touches of our own.

... Today marked an almost goodbye to our amazing Year 11 students. We hope you all had a memorable and enjoyable Leavers' Day – full of laughs, shared memories, and maybe a few tears. It's been emotional watching you grow, and we’re so proud of how far you’ve come. Good luck in the next chapter – you're more than ready.

WHAT A WEEK!
This time last Friday, Mr Joyce and Miss Davison were preparing to take on the London Marathon — and what an incredible achievement it turned out to be. We are so proud of both of them!

Miss Davison smashed her personal best with an amazing time of 3 hours and 30 ...minutes, while Mr Joyce, running his first ever marathon, wasn’t far behind with a fantastic debut performance.

A huge well done also goes out to all of the Simon Balle alumni who took part in the race last weekend.

Miss Davison is already planning her next run, while Mr Joyce is simply hoping to walk comfortably by June!
