We are proud of our all-through school: one school for students from the age of four all the way to eighteen. We are known for our high expectations, first class education and our innovative approach. Our curriculum is broad, and its progressive and sequential nature in every subject ensures that children are inspired and can successfully journey through fourteen years of learning with us. We believe that there is no tension between this academic ambition for all and a holistic education which supports every young person to develop their character and sense of self.

COUNTY LEAGUE ATHLETICS - UPDATE
Our Athletics teams have shown outstanding commitment and resilience throughout this year’s County League competitions, competing in five highly competitive rounds so far. This has been our most successful year to date, with impressive performances across all ...age groups.

YEAR 7 - MUSIC APTITUDE ADMISSIONS 2026-2027
The governors, senior leaders and music department are delighted to be introducing an additional admissions rule for prospective students entering Year 7 at Simon Balle in 2026-2027. Up to 12 places will be awarded for musical aptitude.

MAY ROUND-UP
Another busy month at Simon Balle All-through School included;
◾ Saying goodbye to Year 13 and they prepared to sit their A Level assessments
◾ Saying good luck to our Year 11 students as they prepared to sit their GCSE exams
◾ Saying well done to our Year 8 ...and Year 11 boys football teams as they found success in the cups
◾ Saying 'you've got this' to our amazing Year 6 pupils as the prepared to sit their SATs
◾ Enjoying engineering cars and rockets
◾ Welcoming the return of summer sports
