It is a privilege to welcome you to Simon Balle All-through School. Our website is intended to be a window into the highest quality of education that we offer here, and to give you a sense of who we are and our shared vision and values.
We are proud of our all-through school: one school for students from the age of four all the way to eighteen. We are known for our high expectations, first class education and our innovative approach. Our curriculum is broad, and its progressive and sequential nature in every subject ensures that children are inspired and can successfully journey through fourteen years of learning with us. We believe that there is no tension between this academic ambition for all and a holistic education which supports every young person to develop their character and sense of self.

READ FOR GOOD - READATHON
At Simon Balle, we always think reading is a good thing but until 3rd May students in year 7 and 8 can READ FOR GOOD by participating in the @readforgood Readathon.
Our English department has encouraged students to engage in this year's Readathon and help... raise money for books for children in NHS hospitals.
You can choose to either sponsor a child's reading or donate to this important cause [LINK IN BIO]

UKMT JUNIOR MATHS CHALLENGE
Yesterday, 146 year 7 students and 138 year 8 students participated in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge, part of the Maths Olympiad international Maths competition.
This experience gives students the opportunity to show-off their maths skills, develop ...critical thinking and analysis skills and offer a taste of exam conditions to support further assessments as they progress through school.
We are particularly proud that over 70% of these year groups expressed their desire to participate in this challenge (typically less than 40%).
