Life as a Music Scholar is busy and fulfilling - Music Scholars are students who are committed to Team Music! We will develop you as a musician and give you as many musical opportunities as possible. The two main entry points are Year 7 and Year 12.

Senior and Advanced Music Scholars
All Senior and Advanced Music Scholars have twice yearly review meetings, to outline priorities and opportunities, setting a pathway for progress.
Musicians then know what opportunities they can access and what is expected from them.

Year 7
Entry specifically through the admissions music rule (rule 6) is via the music aptitude application and test that takes place in September and October in the year prior to entry.
To join Year 12, please apply through the 6th form application process that starts in October. Musicians applying from other schools will meet with the Director of Music as part of the process and can come and be part of our music whilst in Year 11, to be fully familiar with what we do.
